FRIDAY

6 P.M. | DISTILLERY 291 BOURBON TASTING Distillery 291 is a small batch distillery making whiskey and liqueur nestled in the stunning foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Located in Colorado Springs, the distillery sits in the shadows of Cheyenne Mountain and the majestic Pikes Peak, which both serve as constant reminders of the founding vision of owner and distiller, Michael Myers, who aims to replicate the taste, smell and folklore of the Wild West – to make whiskey with the character of that unforgettable era.

8 P.M. | DINNER AT THE RABBIT HOLE The Rabbit Hole was the county morgue in the late 1800s. Now, it is a sexy and swanky themed restaurant with a hip, cool vibe. Its entrance is literally a hole on Tejon Street in downtown Colorado Springs. What looks like a bus stop glass enclosure is actually the door that leads you downstairs into The Rabbit Hole. The late-night new American haunt crafts creative bites and cocktails in a sleek, subterranean space.

SATURDAY

6 A.M. | FLY HIGH WITH RAINBOWRIDERS HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE Embark upon a journey of uniqueness and revel in breathtaking panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains while floating across the sky with that special someone. After landing, enjoy a celebratory toast and post-flight refreshments.

1 P.M. | VISIT MANITOU SPRINGS This low-key hippie enclave 15 minutes west of Colorado Springs is host to an array of galleries, boutiques, restaurants, and – as the name implies – 11 mineral-rich hot springs. And, if you need to work off a few hundred calories, head to the Manitou Incline for a mile-long hike on a historic rail line that climbs 2,000 vertical feet.

4 P.M. | THE SPA AT THE GARDEN OF THE GODS COLLECTION Atop the newly constructed Gateway Building, anchored by our International Health and Wellness Center, The Spa at the Garden of the Gods Collection perfectly showcases the majestic Rocky Mountains and the world-renowned Garden of the Gods Park. This spectacular setting is the backdrop for exceptional spa and salon services that flow from our commitment to nurture each individual’s personal renewal. Along with seasonal services, the spa menu includes year-round offerings, like our Aypa Energy Body Treatment, a mystical Andean Incan treatment using organic indigenous plants from Peru. A Purple Corn exfoliant, Lucuma Warming Body Mask, Sacha Inchi oil and an exquisite crème made from organic Quinoa complete a treatment that awakens all the senses.SUNDAY

SUNDAY

9 A.M. | SLEEP IN & ENJOY BREAKFAST IN BED As the golden glow of the rising sun touches the Rocky Mountain peaks, you’ll have one more experience of a lifetime to share with the one you love.

12:30 P.M. | PAINT MINES INTERPRETIVE PARK The rock formations – spires, hoodoos, gullies – rising from this badlands-esque destination a mile and a half outside Calhan form a photogenic hidden gem. Take a self-guided hike, and explore the brilliant erosion-exposed layers of yellow, pink and purple clays that indigenous peoples mined for pottery and paint as far back as 9,000 years.
